TrackPaw Scientific is an early-stage life science company based at Ideon Science park in Lund.
The company idea is to provide research based pharma and biotech companies with a first in class hardware and SaaS solution to enable 24/7 monitoring of research animals with increased animal welfare and accelerating the process of drug development. Our product consists of a platform with sensors that records animal behavior and weight, and a cloud-based solution for statistical analysis of the collected data. Over the past year, we have grown from a single founder to a team of three full-time employees, and our prototype has undergone several improvements in collaboration with our pilot customers.

Electronics Engineer
What we are looking for
You have a broad skillset in electronics and PCB design, ideally with hands-on experience in mixed signal applications, RFID, battery management and Bluetooth. You will be involved in creating new prototypes in close collaboration with the rest of the team, our customers, and external consultants. As the prototypes are released, you will be engaged in testing and troubleshooting both in-house and at customer sites. Experience of turning a prototype electronics project into a commercially viable product is highly advantageous.
Important parts of the work will be to design and construct electronic circuits and systems, suggest improvements based on customer feedback, and estimate the costs of components as well as finding second and third sources for components when we are moving into mass production. The work will be carried out in collaboration with external consultants, customers, and the rest of the team.
We expect a couple of years’ experience or more in the field, and knowledge corresponding to a degree in Electronics Engineering, from university or from relevant institutions outside academia.
Fluency in English is required, knowledge in Swedish is desirable.
